Issues We Support
The NY Health Act
The New York Health Act (NYHA) is the only bill currently in the New York state legislature that would guarantee comprehensive, high quality healthcare for every New Yorker—no exceptions. Once implemented, the NYHA would ensure every New Yorker receives primary care, specialty care, vision, dental, hearing, mental health, reproductive care, substance abuse, maternal care, prescription drugs, and long-term care.
New York For All
All New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status or how long they have lived here, want the same basic things: to participate in their communities, provide for their family, and live without fear. New York For All would protect our immigrant neighbors and ensure our tax dollars are not used to help federal officers separate families, raid workplaces, and deport our neighbors.
DeFlock Troy
DeFlock Troy is a local group organizing against AI-powered license plate readers (ALPR) in Troy. These ALPR cameras scan everyone without a warrant, regardless of whether they’ve committed a crime or not. DeFlock works to limit this form of mass surveillance in our community.
